Who will be your Parkinson's nurse?

My name is Emma Edwards

My Parkinson’s Nurse is an independent specialist nursing service providing personalised support to people living with Parkinson’s and their families across the UK. Founded by Emma Edwards, the service combines clinical expertise, national leadership experience, and compassionate, person-centred care.

Emma has worked in Parkinson’s nursing for over 15 years and has more than 30 years of experience across NHS and independent practice. Her background also includes mental health nursing, education, research involvement, and service development. She was recently awarded a Parkinson’s UK Excellence Network Award (2025) for her national teaching project on mental health awareness.

The service was created to improve access to specialist support, reduce uncertainty, and help people feel more informed and confident in managing Parkinson’s. Every consultation is tailored to the individual, with advice shaped around their concerns, priorities, and circumstances.

My Parkinson’s Nurse works alongside NHS care and is designed to complement, not replace, existing treatment and specialist support.
